First Autographed Book
Author-Signed Copy of Seeker
Today I received my first autographed book in the mail. It was Seeker, by Kim Chance. The second and final book in her Duology Series.
I was going to order a personalized copy of Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco, her fourth and final book of the Stalking Jack the Ripper Series, but decided to order Kim's book instead. I'm currently reading Capturing the Devil. I'm having trouble putting it down.
Kim Chance's Youtube Channel helps writers learn the craft. In her videos, she teaches both basic and advanced writing skills. She explains the difficulties involved when writing a manuscript, shares obstacles encountered along the way, and of course, the rewards associated when you complete and publish your book.
I gave Kim's first novel Keeper five stars on Goodreads. It seemed only right to have an author-signed copy of Seeker.
Inspiration
Having an author-signed copy of a novel brings home the reality for me. I mean, the person who wrote that book, signed it to me. I want to be able to do that when my book is published. Seeing it gives me hope to accomplish my goal.
Perhaps Gordon W. Miller's blog will inspire someone else along the way.
